Last dinner
After pros time, we took a flex ride bus to a member dinner lol. We had dinner with the Richards and when brother Richards saw us get dropped off he went “WHAT?”😂 I thought it was so funny his reaction because of the bus. He thought it was so cool though! He described it like our own limo despite it being public transportation😂
The Richards have been so amazing to us this transfer though. There are many places in our area we simple would not have been able to go to if we had not been driven by them.
Angry lady
The richards ended up driving us home but before they did that, we still had 2 hours of proselyting time to knock doors so we knocked doors around the Richards house and then walked back to be driven home. During this time, we tracted into a house that had a lot of sticky notes in the window warning us about a dog and that we should specifically only ring the door bell because of this dog. It was past 8pm so I knew it was a little bit of a risk but we did it anyway and it did not work out…
This lady banged on her glass on her window where we couldn't see so we had to walk back to see her yelling at us and her dog jumping up and down on the window. I forgot what she said exactly but it included swear words I think. So we started walking away after she said go away but then she kept telling as we walked away.
I thought that was the last we were going to see of her but then after knocking the rest of the houses we planned on knocking we took a break at the end of the neighborhood. We were on our phones documenting where we went knocking but then this lady pulls up with her barking dog😭 Turns out he is a police dog that this lady is fostering so he is very sensitive to the door. She kept insisting that we tell her who we are so she can report us to the police. We said we are missionaries and I almost pulled out my proselyting license haha but she yelled her “peace” then drove off. We walkef back to the Richards house so we could be driven home and we relayed this story to them and sister richards knows who the lady is😭 I guess them and a few other ladies go walking together every morning and she even drove us to the house to confirm whether it was her or not! She told us she expects that she will be hearing an earful or two in the following days.
Oh also i found out im still on bike🚲
Extended transfer docs came out with details about cars, apartments, keys and whatnot and the car section said “Car: N/A”.😭 I even asked an AP if that was a mistake and he said it wasnt. I had my moment to cry but im okay now. My area is at least smaller now so biking won't be as bad.

No pros time lol
Because of our busy day with weekly planning, Pearl street, and the new missionary thing, we had 0 pros time🤯 I was lowkey happy about it because I was getting tired of working in an area I was going to leave anyways.
Sister Cole & Pearl Street
Sister Cole is a new service missionary who reached out to sister Churchill and I about joining us for proselyting and we were down for it but it was the end of the transfer😂 Little did I know though, that i was being transferred into sister Coles ward in Broomfield 3rd! So it lowkey worked out perfectly. Anywho, since im in the Boulder zone, sister Churchill and I helped out the new missionaries with the pearl street tradition of talking to people on their 1st day. I asked sister cole if she wanted to come with me to do that and she said yes haha. We were supposed to be talking about baptism with people and we didnt find anyone personally, but another pair of elders got 2 people on date in the span of an hour and a half! So cool!
Hermana Lindsey & new missionary singing
Sister Churchill was asked to play the commission on guitar and while she was learning it leading up to the new missionary thing, sister Churchill asked me to sing along with her so she knew her guitar playing sounded right. Anywho, President Clawson asked Hermana Lindsey to sing the commission like as a solo but she had very little practice so she was struggling a bit despite her amazing voice. So what ended up happening is that her, her companion, sister Churchill, me, and 2 APs all sang the commission for the new missionaries! It was lowkey fun too😌 It felt like singing around a campfire lol
Stayed out so late omg
After the new missionary thing, hermana Lindsey and hermana sandoval yapped for so long😂 i think we left at 10:40pm😭 and hermanas Lindsey and sandoval had to drive 20 minutes to drop us off at home and then 20 more minutes back to their own apt.

We basically have a car😛
Haha so since sister Cole will be proselyting with us I asked president if she can drive us places and he said YES! So she won't be with us all week but a few days a week we have proper wheels to do stuff.
Transfers
I cried a lot leading up to transfers because sister Churchill and I won't be companions. Once we arrived, we basically just parted ways without a proper goodbye because we had to find our new comps. Other than that, I do love transfers! I got to see sister graham and a bunch of other missionaries I know!
I ended up not moving apartments which is so nice because I actually LIVE in my area for the 1st time in my mission. So all we had to move was sister samuels stuff. It gets worse tho because the STLs had to drive us and they both had to move their own stuff into their new apt. So they helped us move sister samuels stuff, grab her bike from aurora (a 40 minute drive away), drive back to drop it off, then unpack their own stuff. Being an STL is not for the weak it seems.
Unpacking
While waiting, we had sister Cole with us and sister Samuel unpacked while me and sister Cole chatted. We also drove to Walmart to get groceries for the week. Sister Cole drove us to that! Sister Cole was with us all day i think.
Zone call
I invited sister cole to join the zone call where we picked out our zones new name! We decided on Building Boulder👷♀️🏗🧱 which was sister Coles idea! So im glad she hopped on.

Then after sister Cole left for English connect, we went on a split! I went with sister Na'a in my area and shes such a good STL! She gave me a lot of council which I needed and im glad it have her as my STL.
After pros time, sister Samuel and I talked a bit and SHE told ME that she felt like she hasn't learned much and wants to learn from me. She even mentioned that its ironic we've been out the same amount of time😭 So I have my work cut out for me but im going to be grateful because I was hoping to train again😂
Im so nervous but so excited for this transfer. I think right now I want to emphasize reps and teaching sister Samuel everything I can. I want to love her so much I cry when we aren't comps anymore.
On that note, I've cried at least twice today about missing sister Churchill. I miss her guitar and just seeing parts of Broomfield and our apartment remind me of her. I hope shes doing so well and I plan to write her a letter tonight.

Bonding
So since sister Samuel told me about her goal to be better (I love that shes trying to be so teachable), I have been putting in more effort to teach her and also show genuine interest. I started at comp study with going through the videos in the growth mindset chat and discussing the videos with her. We talked about what a growth vs fixed mindset is and I helped identify where she has a growth mindset and where she has a fixed mindset. I also made sure to tell her about the things I have a fixed mindset on and how I plan to improve on them.
I also ended up asking President if we could have a lunch with him so we could practice manners since sister Samuel needs help on that and he said yes! He told us to watch all the videos in the Class chat tho. So during our dinner hour I explained that I asked president to have a fancy lunch with him and that he asked us to watch those videos and she watched them with me! We were able to laugh about it too when I started talking with food in my mouth right after watching a video about it.
After dinner, we had 3 hours of knocking. While this might sound like torture to some, I enjoy it! It feels like the perfect time to get to know my companions and I did just that! Sister Samuel is opening up to me by just sharing about her life, asking me questions, and we are finding out more things we have in common.
Conveniently too, we did reps at DC today regarding baptismal invitations and it was so perfect! Rather than inviting people to come to church, we were talking about baptism! She definitely had some rocky conversations but I think its so good. Mistakes are how we learn. Everyone has a right to make them. I think tomorrow, I will start making a goal with her on how many reps we can do together in a day. Like if we say 40, I'll do 20 and she will do 20. I also want to practice memorizing the first lesson with her! It's so valuable to me to have that memorized.
I know I cannot do this alone, but Christ will help me help sister Samuel so she can be a better servant of the Lord.
NPT!
While knocking (in our apartment complex btw), we met Robert! He's the 1st NPT of the transfer for us! Depending on what his fiancé says, we might be able to teach him and his fiance!

It was so hot today!!!
I got my first sun burn of 2026😭🙏 We spent all afternoon knocking bcuz this area has not been knocked for a LONG time so we are trying to work through it and it was a high of 91 I think! I also didnt wear any sunscreen for that reason lol and im glad it worked out
Splittt
Sister Martell and I went to CU campus and it was cool 😎 We lowkey camped around the gym so we could talk to ppl going in and out and invite them to church. She made me do reps tho☹️ And she didnt tell me how much initially so it was torture lol. Reps btw are basically role-playing to each other conversations we might have with someone while being a missionary. So we did reps on inviting people to church, getting addresses, and whatnot.

Brooo im so tired all the fetching time
Reps w sister Samuel
We made a goal of doing 40 reps today and we didnt hit that but we did them while knocking! I dont like doing reps but if they help sister Samuel, I will do them🫡
Dinner 🍽
We had our first member dinner of the transfer! It was so nice being fed lol. We had the best lemon cookies for dessert too!
Zone blitz
Lol this is my first one bcuz sister Churchill and I were never able to make it to one. But I finally did! A zone blitz btw is when all the missionaries in a zone go in to one set of missionaries area in different spots to help them with their area. First area of the transfer they chose my area and my old area lol. It was fun tho! We went to a spot in Broomfield 1st that I never went to! Didn't make any progress but it was fun!

Bruh we were out ALL DAY doing stuff
I was hoping to nap all morning but it was fun!
First we went shopping at walmart nearby, dropped our stuff off at my apt, then we drove all the way down to Parker to get free haircuts
2 hours later, we drove 20 minutes to an islander store so sister naa and Samuel could get some goodies. Then we drove to cobblestone and helped sister Martell and naa clean the inside of their car to prep for zone conference. Then we drove 45 minutes home😂 it was a long day but i enjoyed it!
I also got to hear my sister's patriarchal blessings today! She wanted to read it too me and my mom on ft and I loved it! Georgia has great things ahead of her🫶
Okayyy I gtg but I'll email next week😁
Love ya!
